Born and raised in Monroe, Michigan, the oldest of eight children. Joined the Air Force in 1967 at the age of 19. Got stationed in a little town of 8,000 people known as Richmond, KY in 1968, one week after I married my wife of 42 years, Janet. I served 2 tours in Vietnam and was discharged in 1971.
